ITDT LLC respects your privacy and stores as little personal and device information as the Hazard Notifier application needs in order to work. What ITDT LLC does store is not given to third parties except for safety, regulatory, or legal reasons.

ITDT LLC collects device location information consisting of a latitude and longitude. This is used to notify you of hazards reported near you, and to place a hazard you report yourself. The most recently collected location replaces the previous one, so a history of where you have been is not kept. If you prefer, you may enter a location by hand in the My Location tab instead of using the device location, in which case no device location is collected at all. ITDT LLC does not collect telephone numbers, email addresses, account names, or passwords.

If the device location is enabled for Hazard Notifier and the application is running in the background, significant changes in your location can be collected so you can be notified when you move into the area of a hazard. If you prefer, you may turn this off by disabling "Update Location in Background" in the My Location tab.

To deliver hazard notifications, ITDT LLC stores the notification token that Apple issues for your device, together with the notification settings you choose. That token identifies your device to Apple's notification service and nothing else — it is not a name, a telephone number, or an account. When Apple reports that the application has been removed from a device, the token stored for it is discarded. Turning notifications off in the iOS Settings app stops notifications being delivered.

When you report a hazard, its type, location, time, and any description you enter are shared with other users near that location, which is the purpose of reporting it. Your report is shown to them as a hazard on the map. It does not carry your name or anything else that identifies you.

The Hazard Notifier application contains no advertising. It does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers of any kind, and it does not track you across other applications or websites.

ITDT LLC may occasionally update this privacy policy. You should check the privacy policy each time a new version of the application is installed, or check here for updates.
