ITDT LLC respects your privacy and does not collect any personal information or financial information you enter in the Retirement Estimator App. All financial information you enter in the Retirement Estimator App is stored on your device and is not sent to ITDT LLC or any other third party.

Your data is protected by Apple's iOS device security, if enabled, and in addition is encrypted with a generated key unique to your device. ITDT LLC cannot help recover your data if it is lost or corrupted.

If you prefer the additional security of a login to access Retirement Estimator you can enable authentication in the Retirement Estimator App settings. Authentication requires a password. Biometric authentication can also be enabled if supported by your iOS device. WARNING: A forgotten password cannot be recovered and will require deleting the Retirement Estimator App and reinstalling to use the App again. All Retirement Estimator data will be lost in the event of Retirement Estimator App deletion and reinstallation.

Retirement Estimator can generate CSV reports and also export your data to a data file. CSV reports and exported data are stored on your iOS device in the Retirement Estimator App folder accessible by your device's iOS "Files" application. CSV reports and exported data stored on your iOS device are protected by your device security if enabled. CSV reports are human readable when opened. Exported data is not human readable but can be imported by any other Retirement Estimator App if the data file is copied to the other iOS device Retirement Estimator App folder. CSV reports and exported data you email, message, or otherwise copy out of the Retirement Estimator App folder are only as secure as the security you use when doing so.

CSV reports and exported data files are marked so they will not be backed up to iCloud. Deleting the Retirement Estimator App and reinstalling will also delete your CSV reports and exported data. If you are concerned about loss of data for whatever reason, you will need to copy/transport files out of the Retirement Estimator App folder to another backup source and ensure the security of your backup source.
