ITDT LLC built the Retirement Estimator app as a personal finance tool. This policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use the app, how your data is protected, and your rights as a user.

Who We Are

ITDT LLC is the developer and data controller responsible for the Retirement Estimator app. For privacy-related questions, contact us through the contact page on our website.

What We Do Not Collect

ITDT LLC does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

No account is required to use the app. No data is ever transmitted to ITDT LLC or any third party by the app itself.

Data Stored on Your Device

All financial information you enter in Retirement Estimator is stored exclusively on your device. It is encrypted using a key unique to your device and is further protected by Apple's iOS security features. ITDT LLC has no access to this data at any time.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. ITDT LLC cannot help recover lost or corrupted data.

Authentication

You may optionally enable password protection, Touch ID, or Face ID to restrict access to the app. A forgotten password cannot be recovered and will require deleting and reinstalling the app, which permanently deletes all local data.

CSV Reports and Data Exports

CSV reports and exported data files are saved locally on your device. They are marked so they will not be backed up to iCloud. If you share these files externally, their security depends on the method you use to share them. ITDT LLC does not receive copies of any exported files.

Apple and the App Store

Retirement Estimator is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data when you download, purchase, or use apps, including device information and purchase history, in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. This data is collected by Apple and is not shared with ITDT LLC.

In-App Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. ITDT LLC does not receive or store any payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Retirement Estimator is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not collect any information from any user, including children.

Your Rights

Because ITDT LLC does not collect or store any personal data on its servers, there is no personal information held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. Your data exists only on your own device and is entirely under your control.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Given that we hold no personal data, these rights are most practically exercised by managing the data on your own device.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with rights regarding personal information. As we do not collect personal information, there is no data subject to CCPA requests.

Data Security

Your data is protected by device-level encryption using a key unique to your device and by Apple's built-in iOS security features. While no method of storage is 100% guaranteed, we believe these protections represent appropriate safeguards for locally stored financial data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
